Research suggests we think between 70,000–90,000 thoughts per day. The majority are habitual, that is, the same as yesterday and the day before. Those habitual thoughts form belief systems. Belief systems shape behavior. Behavior reinforces personality. Personality solidifies identity.
Only a small fraction of our thinking is fully conscious. Most of what drives our decisions, relationships, confidence, wealth patterns, and leadership style operates automatically beneath awareness.
Whether intentional or not, we are constantly creating our identity.
